The Rebecca and Harry Port Center for Digestive Diseases at Weiss Memorial Hospital treats patients with all problems relating to the gastrointestinal tract. The center is renowned for its expert diagnosis and treatment of difficult cases. Here, medical specialists offer modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients suffering from a variety of gastrointestinal or digestive diseases, including:

• Inflammatory bowel disease
• Moderate to severe Crohn's disease

• Peptic ulcer disease
• Colorectal cancer screenings using either a flexible sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy, instruments that gently and accurately examine the colon for signs of cancer or other abnormalities
