James Cohen, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon and Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Vanguard Weiss Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cohen completed his orthopedic residency at Michael Reese Hospital and fellowship at the Rothman Center at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical Center, where he also completed an internship. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is highly experienced in arthroscopic techniques as well as joint replacement. Dr. Cohen is an avid runner and has completed numerous marathons, including the Chicago and Boston marathons.
