In Pakistan, Dr. Tariq Bin Iftikhar began his collegiate studies with a bachelor’s of science in biology and chemistry at Government College and earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical College, where he was recognized as a Merit Scholar. He went on to complete an internship and earn Intern of the Year at MacNeal Hospital. He completed residencies at Metro Hospital in Chicago and Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va., and a fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Iftikhar has served as president of the Rotary Club of Berwyn and as a member of the Rotary International.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Iftikhar is active in philanthropic and educational activities locally and internationally, and is also active in community service in the surrounding areas.
