Dr. Scott Seymour knows that healthy joints are necessary for all stages in life. “I treat a range of patients including young construction workers, weekend athletes, and seniors, who all experience joint pain. If non-operative treatment fails to relieve their pain, I employ innovative state of the art procedures to provide long-term pain relief.”
Dr. Seymour is a cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois in Chicago and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School with honors. He successfully completed an internship in surgery and a residency in orthopedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive and joint replacement surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Sciences Center in Farmington, Connecticut.
He is active in a variety of medical societies including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and has co-authored and presented scholarly papers on a variety of orthopedic innovations and research. Dr. Seymour is affiliated with several professional societies and associations such as the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Illinois State Medical Association, the Clinical Orthopedic Society and the Illinois Association of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Seymour is a lifelong resident of Chicago and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as playing hockey for the Piranhas.
