Sports Medicine at Weiss

The mission of the Sports Medicine Program of Vanguard Chicago Center for Orthopedics (CCO) is to evaluate and treat people of all ages wishing to enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. As long as we live, regardless of age, the body responds positively to exercise. Everyone can benefit from thoughtfully planned physical activity. Such physical activity ranges from professional athletics to a home exercise program for people with arthritis or other disabilities.

Everyday Athletes: Education, Treatment and Injury Prevention
CCO's Sports Medicine Program will help you maintain or regain the most active lifestyle possible. We want you to get back in the game! Our physicians have treated professional and Olympic athletes as well as thousands of everyday athletes.

Every patient is unique, and treatment must be appropriate to each individual. Weiss offers many treatment options, including physical therapy, home exercises, medications, splints, orthotics, therapeutic injections and others. If surgery is necessary, we use state-of-the-art equipment that enables our surgeons to perform many procedures without the need for an overnight stay.

CCO's Sports Medicine Program will help you achieve your physical activity goals and overcome injuries or other problems that keep you from enjoying your best health. Explore the following resources:
