The Ambulatory Surgery Center at Weiss Memorial Hospital is a 12-bed unit dedicated to pre- and post-operative care of patients undergoing all types of surgery, including:
- Ear, nose or throat
The ambulatory surgery center offers the following services:
- Outpatient treatment, where procedures are performed under general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, intravenous sedation or local anesthesia, and the patient returns home the same day.
- Same-day admission procedures, where procedures are performed under general anesthesia, regional anesthesia or intravenous sedation, and the patient remains in the hospital after surgery.
- A pre-evaluation program, where the patient undergoes diagnostic testing, an anesthesia consultation or a clinical profile assessment.
Surgeries also are performed in an adjacent suite of nine operating rooms.

In addition, a seven-bed post-anesthesia care unit is located adjacent to the operating rooms.
