Dare to Care is an educational and screening program. It is free to participants. We will have a one-hour lecture by our Chief of Vascular Surgery, Dr. Heather Hall
Dr. Hall will discuss risk factors, prevention and treatment of vascular diseases such as peripheral artery disease (blockages that impair circulation in your legs), carotid artery disease (arteries that provide blood flow to the brain, risk of stroke), and abdominal aortic aneurysm disease (a disease affecting the aorta which is the largest artery in your body).
At the completion of the lecture, interested participants will receive a voucher and appointment to come to Weiss Hospital for the following screenings:
- Blood pressure check
- Carotid artery screen
- Abdominal Aortic measurement
- Circulation check—doppler check of leg flow
The event takes place in Conference Room 6A (6th floor, A Elevators). The screenings take only 15 minutes and are performed by our very qualified vascular technologists.
Please call (800) 503-1234 by Monday, May 12 for more information and to register.
