When testing is complete, all results are entered into a shared computer system providing physicians with immediate access. In addition, reports are transmitted to the hospital’s Physician’s Portal where health care providers can see their patients’ complete medical records. The Clinical and Anatomic Pathology Laboratory of Weiss Memorial Hospital provides chemistry and hematology testing, transfusion services in the blood bank, and limited pathology services on-site. Inpatient and outpatient phlebotomy (blood draw) by experienced technicians is also provided. Microbiology and esoteric testing is sent to Genesis Clinical Laboratory.
