Sometimes the best medicine comes in the form of interaction with others, especially those who can relate to your health condition. Sharing your experiences with others offers a sense of community, belonging and proof that you’re not alone. It can also give you a better understanding of your own disease or illness. Those who participate in support groups often recover faster, experience less pain and establish lifelong bonds.
