Henry A. Finn, M.D., F.A.C.S., is the Medical Director of the Chicago Center for Orthopedics at Weiss. He is internationally recognized for his skill in hip and knee replacement surgery. With more than 25 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Finn specializes in adult reconstructive surgery and has led approximately 10,000 surgical procedures. He is also a leader in devising and applying the latest techniques, including contemporary minimally invasive and rapid-recovery approaches, advanced analgesic techniques, cosmetic wound closure, partial knee replacement and hip resurfacing.

Danielle Bass, M.D., turned her love of sports into a career as a general medicine physician with a focus on sports medicine. She earned her medical degree from Florida State University, served as a family medicine resident at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn and completed a sports medicine fellowship at O’Connor Hospital in California.

James Cohen, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon and Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cohen earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical Center, where he also completed an internship. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and is highly experienced in arthroscopic techniques as well as joint replacement.

Jennifer Connor, M.D.has served as team doctor for Rice University Athletics and assisted in the foot and ankle care of the Houston Texans, Rockets and Astros athletic teams. Dr. Connor specializes in operative and non-operative foot and ankle care, including trauma, sports-related injuries, tendon injuries, arthritis and deformities.

Benjamin Domb, M.D., is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, hip and knee. He is a fellowship-trained expert in sports medicine, including repair and reconstruction of ligaments, cartilage and tendons. He is also a pioneer of new techniques in hip arthroscopy, enabling patients with hip injuries to return to full activity and often prevent or delay joint replacement.
Yasser Farid, M.D., an award-winning researcher and lecturer, specializing in adult reconstructive surgery, revision arthroplasty, treatment of infected joints, orthopedic oncology (including pelvic and extremity tumors, and metastatic disease) and traumatology.

Benjamin Goldberg, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He specializes in shoulder, elbow and knee surgery, as well as general orthopaedics, limb deformity and fracture care. He performs many upper extremity joint replacements as well as minimally invasive shoulder and elbow surgery.

Mark Gonzalez, M.D., is a Professor and Department Head of Orthopaedics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He specializes in hand surgery, microsurgery and joint reconstruction.Dr. Gonzalez earned his M.D. from the University of Chicago​ and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with an added qualification in hand surgery.

Eldin Karaikovic, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric and adult spinal deformities, short segment fixation for scoliosis and thoracolumbar fractures, kyphoplasty, artificial discs, and herniated cervical and lumbar discs. He is a surgeon at the Chicago Center for Orthopedics, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago and an Instructor at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Ari Kaz, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle conditions. A Chicago native, Dr. Kaz completed his general surgery internship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, followed by his orthopedic surgery residency at Indiana University Medical Center. He went on to complete a foot and ankle fellowship at the prestigious Idaho Foot and Ankle Fellowship program.

Gabriel S. Levi, M.D., is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who completed his training in joint reconstruction and sports medicine at the world-renowned Insall Scott Kelly Institute in New York, NY.  Dr. Levi completed his medical school training and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His specialty training is in joint replacement and arthroscopy of the knee, hip and shoulder. He has a special interest in joint replacement and restoration, which includes various treatment methods for cartilage injuries.

Roberto Levi, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who received his doctorate in medicine from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He trained in orthopedic surgery in the Jewish Hospital in Buenos Aires and then immigrated to the United States, where he received additional training in Orthopedic Surgery at Sinai Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Michael Reese Hospital. Since then, he has been practicing as an orthopedic surgeon in the Chicago area.

Matthew S. Marcus, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Marcus received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Downstate in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark, New Jersey, where he was awarded the Resident Teaching Award. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle; including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, hip labral tears and Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) tears.

Thomas A. McNally, M.D., is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in comprehensive operative and nonoperative spinal care. He is the Director of the Chicago Spine Center at Weiss and a surgeon at the Chicago Center for Orthopedics.

Alfonso Mejia, M.D., M.P.H., is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He also is the Program Director for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program at UIC. He specializes in hand surgery and microsurgery, as well as general orthopedics and fracture care. Dr. Mejia earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois. While earning his M.D., he concurrently completed a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in epidemiology, also at UIC. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, with an added qualification in hand surgery.

Peter Snitovsky, M.D., specializes in orthopedic surgery and hand surgery. Board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in both, he began practicing in 2003. He is currently a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  Dr. Snitovsky’s clinical interests include the upper extremities and hand surgery. However, he provides all orthopedic services including arthroscopy, joint replacement and reconstructive surgery, and speaks English, French, Spanish, Hebrew and Polish.

Craig Westin, M.D., is actively involved in the treatment of professional and Olympic athletes. He is a team physician with the U.S. Figure Skating Team and has traveled with the U.S. team as far away as China and Russia and is the personal orthopedic surgeon for Olympic Figure Skating Silver Medalist, Sasha Cohen.  After his orthopedic training at Harvard and a sports medicine fellowship in Europe, Dr. Westin moved to Utah to run the ski clinic at the Alta and Snowbird ski resorts. He says, "There is no other orthopedic practice in the world that could have provided more experience with torn ACLs and injured shoulders than Snowbird."

Preston Wolin, M.D., is the director and founder of the Center for Athletic Medicine, Ltd. Founded in 1991, the center provides multispecialty care to every level of athlete, from children to professionals. Dr. Wolin has served as a team physician for DePaul University, Loyola University, University of Illinois at Chicago, the Chicago Fire (Major League Soccer), United States Soccer National Men’s and Women’s Teams and the Windy City ThunderBolts (Frontier League in Professional Baseball). He is also the team physician for Robert Morris University, St. Rita High School, St. Ignatius College Prep and Chicago State University.
