The award highlights a Chicago-area healthcare leader who has consistently demonstrated administrative achievement and creativity in the areas of development and adoption of best practices in healthcare management, successful stewardship of capital projects or significant organizational initiatives, operations performance improvement, healthcare public policy initiatives, professional mentoring, or community leadership or volunteerism.
“I am honored to receive this award,” Dr. Tedeschi said. “I began my career in private practice as a doctor, caring for patients and families. Redesigning healthcare to concentrate on improvements in quality and safety and focusing on the teamwork involved to deliver great care is very rewarding. I’m grateful and honored at this recognition from CHEF/ACHE.”
