Shirley Roy, M.D., is the medical director of the Wound Healing Center at Weiss. She has presented on multiple subjects in adult medicine, palliative care and wound care to medical residents and colleagues. Dr. Roy has taught adult medicine at Cook County Hospital for 20 years and has served as medical director of Home Health and Hospice for 10 years. Dr. Roy is board-certified in Geriatric Medicine and Internal Medicine and has received additional training on Advanced Wound Management and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Ohio State University to meet patients’ wound care needs.

NEUROLOGIST, WEISS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

Anthony Stephens, M.D., is a neurologist at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Dr. Stephens earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a fellowship at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County. His clinical areas of interest in addition to general neurology include seizure management, migraines, multiple sclerosis (MS) and peripheral neuropathy.
